I founded Strivers’ Row to celebrate Black doers and cultivate community. Strivers are selected with special care and our core team - myself, co-founder, Duc and creative director, Jarrod - is dedicated to building a platform they are proud to be a part of. We host a number of private events to encourage authentic relationship building. We produce original content featuring the Strivers to elevate their personal brands and campaigns to provide them with valuable exposure while leveraging their collective influence to be impactful. Black Business Row was our first campaign in recognition of National Black Business Month. We also host public events to create spaces for like-minded folks to connect with one another.
The Link Up was born to take online connections, offline. What started as a networking happy hour for young people of color has evolved into a series of day and night events at some of New York’s most popular venues with its best talent on the bill. My partner Roland & I are all about the unwind because we know how hard you have to work to be anybody in this city.
Over the years, Chasing Destinee has been many things - a blog, the name of the travel agency I once operated. Today, it is my personal brand. I am @chasingdestinee across social and align with events & initiatives using the moniker.
